For those representing their companies at our upcoming 20th Annual Commerce Industrial Council Chamber of Commerce’s Golf Tournament, Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Montebello Country Club atop the Quiet Cannon will, undoubtedly stand out as one of the best days of the year!
The event will be hosted at the Montebello Country Club with a shotgun start time of 10:00 AM. ABOUT THE MONTEBELLO COUNTRY CLUB
Montebello Country Club has a rich history that goes back to 1928, when it was built as an enterprising country club designed by Max Behr, (Golf Course Architect). In 1941, the City of Montebello purchased the course and is now proud of this opportunity to welcome you, the patrons from local and distant communities, to its golf course.
The 120 acre, 18-hole public championship course was remodeled in 1998-99, re-opening on May 7, 1999. The remodel included the addition of 3 lakes all new greens, tees, bunkers and cart paths. Architects for the remodel were David Rainville and Gary Bye. Montebello Country Club is now recognized as one of the best municipal golf courses in Southern California.
With the course in good shape and a friendly atmosphere, the Montebello Country Club is a popular choice and will be a true pleasure to play at this year’s annual golf tournament.
