The Shopping Extravaganza is an annual event where women AND men can shop for everything from beauty to fashion, while benefiting a charity. The Citadel Outlets, Los Angeles’ only outlet center, has held this event for the last seven years in a row and teams up to benefit charities including family support and treatment centers, boys and girls clubs, elementary schools, civic and service organizations, and many other related causes.
It is the Citadel Outlets’ hope that their events bring more awareness and exposure to these charities while providing some funding they need. “What’s better than shopping to help others in need!,” states Eddie D. Tafoya, Executive Director for the Commerce Industrial Council. “The Shopping Extravaganza is a festive affair filled with an uplifting spirit so that it can seriously help local charities in need. We’re proud to be affiliated with the Citadel Outlets and this annual event,” added Tafoya. The Chamber has been a part of this annual event since its inception in 2006.
