2007 ANNUAL FALL JACKPOT DRAWING

The Chamber’s answer to million-dollar game shows and big money lottery winnings is just around the corner. November will be here soon and so will our 2007 Annual Fall Jackpot Drawing, which promises to generate excitement for a chance at $10,000!
Indeed, the Annual Fall Jackpot, where a $100 ticket can win $10,000, is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, 2007, in place of our monthly mixer at Stevens Steak & Seafood House, tickets are on sale now!
Here’s how it’s done. Only 250 tickets will be sold and groups may purchase a single ticket in order to participate in the event, whose theme this year is “Pirate’s Secret Treasure.” Chamber Ambassador Juan Muniz from the City of Commerce will serve as the event chairperson. Winnings over $600 will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
The drawing, which benefits and supports ongoing chamber programs and advocacy efforts, will have plenty of additional cash and raffle prizes besides the $10,000. The event will also feature second and third prizes—a digital camera and a color television, respectively.
Tickets will be on sale until the first one is drawn at the event. Some time after the mixer begins, the drawing will begin. The first ticket drawn wins the $10,000, but that person or group’s name is not revealed or announced until the rest of the tickets have been drawn. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
If you would like to sell tickets for the Jackpot, contact the Chamber to have tickets assigned to you. The seller of the $10,000 winning ticket will be given $1,000.
