About Our Annual Luncheon
Year after year, the Women in Business Luncheon attracts a group of diverse and self-motivated women that serve and play a significant role in our communities with positive leadership. Each represents the larger community and our great American society as a whole. Most are active in women’s business organizations, chambers, service clubs, and volunteer as mentors for others in helping our community.
This year, the Women in Business luncheon will, once again, recognize an exceptional woman in our region that has contributed to our quality of life in business, civic, and service volunteerism with the “2008 Woman of the Year Award.” The individual will possess several common traits—belief in themselves, vision, determination, and flexibility, while improving the overall quality of life of our communities.
The Commerce Industrial Council will select its 2008 Woman of the Year with input from its membership, the many community, civic and service organizations, and service clubs operating in the City of Commerce and our surrounding communities.
